About me
Since I was only 14 years old, I have been fascinated by creating beautiful moving images. Originally as a director of high school narratives, today a cinematographer and colorist for impactful documentary films.
I am a self-motivated Filmmaker with the most experience as Director of Photography and Colorist, but with knowledge and practice in Editing, Sound Production and Gaffing. With over 6 years of Freelance Work, I have gained experience in a wide range of departments and genres.
It was not until I attended UCSB however, that I truly began to appreciate the impact of Documentary films, specifically those that attempt to tackle sensitive social issues. Working on productions that attempted just that, while receiving mentorship from professors with similar experiences, allowed me to grow as a filmmaker and individual.
The best thing I have learned here at UCSB is the ability to be self-motivated and productive with my work. Regardless of the task, I am always up for the challenge and am ready to learn what I don't yet know
